Our Philosophy
At Pisarri, McEnroe & Careri, our philosophy is one of commitment...commitment to our clients and to the law as a profession, not merely as a business. Our most important asset is the quality of our services and the greatest measure of success is client satisfaction. We genuinely care about our clients and evaluate carefully the unique and specific needs of each client because we recognize the importance of providing advice and support which is right for you. 


Thomas J. Pisarri
A lifelong resident of Bergen County, Mr. Pisarri received his B.A. degree from Rutgers University and his J.D. from New England School of Law in 1975. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York, the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey and for the Southern District of New York, and the U.S. Supreme Court. Mr. Pisarri is a member of the Bergen County Bar Association, the New Jersey State Bar Association and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. Mr. Pisarri concentrates his practice on Personal Injury Litigation and Criminal and Civil Litigation. Mr. Pisarri concentrates his practice in the above areas and is widely regarded by his peers and clients as an outstanding trial attorney.

He is a member or has co-chaired several Bergen County Bar Association Committees including the Medical/legal Liaison Committee, the Civil Practice Committee and the Judicial Performance Committee. He is also a member of the Bergen County Community Resource Council Lawyers Committee.

Mr. Pisarri is active in his community and is Founder and President of Wyckoff Baseball and Softball Boosters, Director of Traveling Basketball and has been a coach in softball, baseball and basketball for ten years.


Frank Careri, Jr.
A practicing attorney since 1976, Mr. Careri graduated magna cum laude from Boston College, double majoring in Speech Communication and Philosophy. He received his J.D. from Rutgers University. Mr. Careri was a Bergen County Assistant Prosecutor and Chief of the Grand Jury Section before entering private practice in 1980. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and is a member of the Bergen County, Essex County, New Jersey State, and American Bar Associations. Mr. Careri has extensive experience in business law, commercial real estate, all forms of trial practice, and is general outside counsel to numerous businesses throughout the country. The high regard in which Mr. Careri is held by those who know the quality of his work is reflected in his appointment from time to time as Special Master in complex matters by Superior Court Judges in New Jersey.

Mr. Careri is active in his community and has coached numerous sports teams. In 1998, Mr. Careri was elected President of the North Jersey Country Club in Wayne, New Jersey.


William F. McEnroe
Mr. McEnroe graduated cum laude from Boston College with degrees in Mathematics and Economics and received his J.D. cum laude from Seton Hall University in 1975. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. Mr. McEnroe concentrates on Business and Corporate Law, Real Estate, Bankruptcy Law, Construction Law, Commercial Litigation and Labor Law. In 1986, Mr. McEnroe argued the case of Midlantic v N.J.D.E.P. before the U.S. Supreme Court involving conflicts between bankruptcy laws and environmental laws.

Mr. McEnroe has practiced extensively in land use planning and has served on municipal zoning and planning boards. He is a member of the Essex County, New Jersey State, Federal, and American Bar Associations. Mr. McEnroe has served on several State Bar committees, including Creditor-Debtor Relations and Environmental Law, and was Chairman of the Young Lawyers Division. He has been a panelist on Environmental Law and Bankruptcy at seminars sponsored by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education. In his community, Mr. McEnroe has coached youth teams in basketball, soccer and baseball and presently is Administrator of the Chester Police Athletic Association Basketball Program.
