We serve as general counsel to several ERISA pension and welfare funds. We provide a wide range of legal services to individual employees. We will negotiate severance packages for employees when appropriate. We have represented employees who have been accused of misconduct that has lead either to their termination or to the filing of a criminal complaint against them. Employees who have been discriminated against in New Jersey can file a claim alleging violation of the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination, probably the most employee friendly discrimination law in the United States. We represent persons who have been discriminated against because of their sex, age, disability or other characteristic as defined by that law. A person who successfully prosecutes a claim under that law can recover lost wages, future wages, obtain an order of reinstatement medical expenses and other compensatory damages. The court will also award attorney's fees and costs to a prevailing party. We provide representation to clients who have been injured as a result of the existence of a hostile work environment and who have been wrongfully terminated and who were not paid proper wages as a result of working overtime.
